For parents and teachers
Start with the story, then ask what changed for the characters and why. Connect it to a familiar tool, a skill your child is learning, or something your family is saving for. There is room to think aloud and disagree.
Nature provides the berries, fish and branches. Gathering and making useful things takes people's time, and learning the skills takes practice. The stories make those connections visible through everyday adventures.
